  1. I find the storyline of Cathy the Calf very intriguing. Saving a drowning cat seems a bit intense for what you normally find in board books. Do you think it would be scary at all for young children? I cannot tell from the picture, is the book in the shape of the cow or is it a rectangle with the cow picture on the front? Miss Spider's ABCs is a great example of an Alphabet board book. Did you like the colorful design?

  2. I think the story of Katy Duck is a great one kids can relate to! even though it is a board book, parents might want to keep it around for when their children start a new activity or have a first day of school to share a life lesson.

  3. The "Mrs. Spider" books are great! There used to be a TV show about her (not sure if it's still on now) so kids could already be familiar with that character which is a plus in getting them to want to sit down and read, or be read to.
